Find a good real estate agent you like. There should be plenty that match your needs in that area, in that price range.

There are currently 18 mls listing that meet your criteria. Some neighborhoods include:

Scotts Mill
Sawyers Mill
Whitehall Manor

Hope this helps.

Default thnaks for the feedback

I have used some good search engines but I'm looking for personal feedback...

I have found a couple house I like in Whitehall Manor. Looking on a map it seems that there is a railroad near RT1. not to far from the houses...looks like 200-300 yards....any idea if noise is an issue? Any experience with this development?

Gee Matt, you sound like hubby when he asks where we want to go for dinner and I give suggestions and he has a reason to NOT go to each of them!

Since you are asking for input from everyone about certain neighborhoods, why don't you just list the neighborhoods you are interested in and let the people who live there answer?

Otherwise...I'm with Desdemona...get an agent! Any agent! Even an inexperienced agent is better than no agent when dealing with onsite sales associates in new construction!

Hope this helps...not meaning to sound snippy.

Vicki

BMorris, here's what you need to do if you're wanting to start a thread in the Raleigh/Durham/ChapelHill/Cary forums.

1. First, go to the main page for this section. Here's a link: //www.city-data.com/forum/ralei...pel-hill-cary/
2. On the left side of the screen, you should see a button that says "New Thread". Click on that.
3. Hopefully the rest will be obvious.

your right I understand....looking on the MLS and asking around I like the 2-3 houses for sale in Whitehall Manor....seems like a decent amount of house for the money, and I like the cottage style...like I said in my first post the only "issue" I see with this development is its proximity to the railroad tracks (looks like 200-500 yards away, given the house you look at) I'm sensative the noise (hense I'm not looking near RDU) and want peace and quiet. Anyone look at this development or have experience with the tracks that go near it?

Thanks, Matt
