Hi,

We are going to be in the relo process soon and I'm trying to gather info in advance on the Triangle area. We'd be leaving a small sub-division on an acre, with sprinklers, basement and great school system. My on-line research is overwhelming but this forum is great. 1) Why no basements in most areas? 2) What communities have you noticed that doesn't charge association fees and have all those restrictive covenants? 3) I would like a smaller development: the option to have a basement, my own in-ground pool if I decide. 4) School system is #1 requirement along with 4) 30 mile radius of the job (Triangle Research Park Areas)....

I liked the forum on builders/developments... it will cut down on places that I would have been interested in seeing. Ever try to research the area with kids in tow...Ages 6 and 9!! So, any areas I should check out or stay away will be appreciated in advance.
