We moved!!!! YAY. The move was a bit of a fiasco....all our stuff wouldnt fit on the truck they sent (because it was 85% full when it arrived). So we had to wait 7 hours for a 2nd truck. But luckily everyhing arrived on Friday and we have been working like machines to get it all unloaded. Now we have 8 Million boxes and the packing paper sitting on the front porch. What can I do with it??? Will the moving company come take it??? Will the garbage truck take it??? What did everyone else do?

Cut them up and recycle them. They will also take the packing paper.

You could also post it on Craigslist as available for free. Right now I'm sure there are families going through the packing stage somewhere in the Triangle that would love free boxes.

I just SOLD mine on Craigslist. Bingo! They didn't even take all of them so I'll be listing a bunch more again soon. Check out this award winning MOUNTAIN of packing paper. And it's only from our first unpack which is probably only 1/2 our boxes.

I would give them away free on freecycle.com. That's where we got a lot of our boxes.

Since our movers destroyed about 98% of the boxes, we had to just recycle them. We were going to save them for when we buy a house and move again within the next year and half but it wasn't worth it.
