I am looking for tahini sauce. I have tried to find it at Harris Teeter, Whole Foods. Is there anyone who know the store that sell it in Cary?

Have you tried Trader Joe's? They have a lot of different kinds of foods!

Try the Neomonde on Beryl Rd. It's not far from Cary.

I've gotten it at Whole Foods too. But Neomonde also works. You could go to the Raleigh location too.

Are you looking in the right section? I've usually found it around peanut butter. It is more of a nut paste than a sauce.

Also, try any Arabic/Halel Market. There is one near Chatham Crossings, actually down on Maynard about a block before the intersection of Chatham, that has Tahini. Nice market, friendly owner, good selection and prices. (I think he is Morrocan, but I can't remember for sure.)

I've gotten mine at HT in the past, you usually have to ask where it is (because it is not usually where you expect it)

I think the Super Walmart off of 54/540 even carries it! It would be found in either the health food or peanut butter section.

When I was uber-crunchy-granola I used to make my own... that was before it became available mainstream. And now I prefer Nutella - LOL!
