We are looking for recommendations of cleaning services/individual for our soon-to-be new home in Raleigh. Does anyone have recommendations of someone they trust and is reliable?

We're also looking to find out what the average cost would be for a 2000 sq ft home.

Thank you!

We just started using Home Sweet Home and they've been doing a great job. Victoria is the owner and she and her employees are very thorough. Our neighbors use her and they recommended us to her. It is $65+/- for a 2,000 sf home, which was well worth the money for us.

Her website is Home Sweet Home NC...

Good luck.

Do they do all this for 65? Are you doing it weekly? Bi? Monthly?

Yes. And our house is a hair over 2,000 sf, so it's $70.00.

We get ours cleaned bi-weekly. Give her a call, she'll come out look at your house, tell you everything they do and give you a quote.

I do $75 every other week, about 2400 sq ft (though we don't use two rooms).

I pay a private lady 60.00 cash every week. My home is 3200 sq feet. I found her on craigslist. (sorry, I can't give out her info). I prefer private people over a service. I have used a service in the past and they were way more expensive and didn't do a very good job imo.

I pay a company $89 every two weeks for 2400+ sf. I thought that was OK until I read the prices here. Hmmm...

I like using a service because it is reliable and bonded. I used a series of private cleaning ladies for a while, but one called in sick frequently, there were frequent transportation issues, and the last one disappeared for a few months, calling one day and acting like nothing had happened. I had hired a company in the meantime and was/is much happier.

wilcoxg77-
We are moving to Brightleaf (Durham- Near Briar Creek) next week, and I am wondering what area Home Sweet Homes works in? I didn't see that info on their site- so I figured I'd ask before contacting them.

Thanks so much,
Christinabean

Vicki said she goes all over the Triangle from Fuquay to Clayton to Knightdale to Raleigh, Durham, etc. She has four crews altogether I believe. Depending on where you live will determine what day your cleaning is scheduled (I believe, don't quote me on this).

We'd never used a cleaning service, but with an 18 month old and having our house on the market, it was well worth the cost for every other week.
