I've been to the new Captain Stanley's and it's very good. There's also a small new place in the heart of Rolesville called Fitzgerald's Seafood. It's very, very good. I love their fried oysters. Tried their flounder the other day and that was excellent also.
It's casual, prices are very reasonable.
p.s. don't like the restaurant at Farmer's Market. Atmosphere is like a feeding trough. Hate it. Besides, I got a fried fish with insides and all. It had never been gutted.
We went to Captain Stanley's today and were very pleasantly surprised. It's in the old Ragazzi's next door to Winston's Grill on Falls of Neuse, and it's been there since October.
They've redecorated the place so it's nautical and homey -- very comfortable. The service was great. Husband had $5 lunch special of fried shrimp, coleslaw, and soup and was thrilled with it. I had the largest piece of flounder I've ever seen, coleslaw, and potato wedges, and I was very happy. There was enough left over for husband's dinner. They don't oversalt the food (if at all), and that's a good thing.
We used our $5 valpak.com coupon, too. We will be back. (We were never thrilled about going to the other Cap'n Stanley's with my DH's family. Hmm. Maybe it was the company. )

That was a Ruby Tuesday's recently..
Maybe it was Ragazzi's before that??
Michael Deans on Wake Forest Road also has good seafood - I like the Oysters.
