Our tree line in the back needs to be rounded off a little better. Need to remove a patch of pines and other smaller green leaved trees, maybe 30'x15' or so. Plus we have a few fallen trees and some stumps that need to be taken care of.

Anybody have an idea of how much this would cost?

I think it will depend on the access and the size of the trees among other things. I just had Bartlett round here quoting on tree care etc. Removing one hardwood was about 1000. Bartlett is probably the most expensive one out there, but they'll come out and give you advice and a very professional quote for nothing. Might as well ask them 1-877-bartlett

One mammoth advantage of using a large company is that they likely have workers compensation and general liability insurance.
You never know what might happen. Chain saws and multi-ton trees and acts of God.

An acquaintance of mine was paralyzed by a falling tree this winter that he was cutting down.
You don't want those medical bills...
