Mothers are forgiven on Mother's Day.
I wanted to have a "breakfast in the park" near water, with bacon and eggs over a tabletop stove or grill, which is what my aunt used to do when I was a kid. No crowded Mother's Day brunches for me! But offspring didn't want to do it! AAUUGHH. Apparently, they don't realize I am Queen for the Day.
But I had a visit and takeout, so all is fine. (And flowers from out of town.) A good day.
I'll get them back on their birthdays. (Cake? You wanted a
cake? What, with candles?)
