I know I am not the only one around here who likes Chicago style pizza and a well known Chicago chain has opened up shop in Morrisville.
We went to Rosati's & really enjoyed it. Its claim to fame is of course, authentic Chicago style deep dish pizzas, though they offer pan & thin crust too. We also saw folks eating regular pasta dishes that looked delicious.
Having lived in Chicago for 4 years I have to say this was a perfect Chicago pie with a deep buttery crust layered with cheese, then your choice of toppings and chunky fresh tomotoe sauce. The cheese first keeps your crust nice and crisp. We also had their killer Dough Nuggets -a cinnamon & powder sugar dough dessert kind of like skinny beignets with cinnamon & caramel sauce - YUM.
They offer Pepsi products, and have a fair selection of beer (Fat Tire & Blue Moon included) and a few wines.
Located in the NW plaza at Davis Drive & Morrisville Carpenter. They offer Delivery, Carry Out & Dine in and said they have a coupon in the new "Clipper" magazine.
I know Cary is home to a lOT of NY & NJ families who are fond of a different style of pizza, but open yourself to a new experience, this Chicago pizza place was pretty darned good! We all came home "Fat & Happy".

You have made my day!!! I lived for 15 years in the Chicago area and one of the biggest things I have missed is having REAL Chicago style pizza. Rosati's was one of my favorites. I will try to check it out this weekend.
Sounds good! Anyone familiar with the shopping center-does there happen to be an ice cream place to go to afterwards? Definitely will try this out!
You have Dairy Queen virtually across the street, or if you REALLY want to spoil yourself, please check out Henry's Gelato in the plaza next to Biaggi's/Stonewood Grill on Cary Parkway. Not a far drive, and great gelato. Good luck picking a flavor!
Can't wait to try the pizza! I grew up in Chicago area and moved here 20yrs ago. I still get teary-eyed thinking of Portillos and Lou Malnati's.
Friends of ours sent us the Italian Beef pack from Portillos and a couple frozen pizza's from Lou Malnati's and we were in heaven. We ended up ordering more, but it got expensive after awhile with the shipping charges. I heard Portillos was going to open franchises in California. Would love to see them come here as well.
There is also a Baskin Robbins across the street on the opposite corner.
Duh, I zoned out on that one! Great call!
