I just need some advice on the Raleigh area. I know nothing of the area but need views on what part of the city is recommended to live in, no more than average crime, nice schools( I have a 6yr old), some what quiet areas. Ive heard about Cary which seems to be a nice area. Im looking for apartments that are >1000 for a 2 bedroom in a good area for middle class people.Im in the healthcare field so of course somewhere near the vicinity of hospitals, or medical offices. Thank you !!!

Do a bit of research and then come for a few days and look around, speak to realtors, employment agencies (if you plan on finding a job) and drive around at night in areas that you think you might want to settle.

If you don't have a job to come to, I would not move here.
