After two years I finally made it home to the Triangle for a visit last week. First I spent a week in Atlanta, and then flew to RDU. And although Atlanta's size now makes the Triangle seem much smaller by comparison, North Carolina's highways, development, etc. is far more aesthetically pleasing. Here is a shot of Wade Ave. inside the Beltline which captures the typical "look" of a Raleigh intersection, and the makeover of Hillsborough St. along my alma mater, NC State University:
