Thanks I will check it out. The indoor swim center would be great! We have an outdoor pool here so dont really have a need to go to an outdoor one.
My youngest will be 8 tomorrow so all these ideas help us think of something fun to do with her. She didnt get a birthday party with friends this year because of the move so we are just going to find something fun to do as a family
Wish her a happy birthday from us! We are doing a sleepover this weekend, in lieu of a birthday party with friends (my dd turns 9 later this summer). We always do a big birthday bash every year, so this year is going to be kind of different for her! Too bad we are going to be up in the hills when we get there - sounds like our dd's are the perfect age to be pals!

Yikes a sleepover party.. hope its not too many kids.. we had 7 over for a bday party sleepover and girls that age have too much drama lol. They had fun but I will pass on sleepovers with more than 1 or maybe 2 friends for a while
It does sound like our kiddos are around the same age.. Kat turns 8 tomorrow and Chey turned 9 last February.

LOL! So far, there will be 6 of them - all 8 year olds! We might add one more to the mix, but I think they will be okay. We are setting up the tent in our back yard. They will have a cook out, play some outside games, get ready for bed, and keep the neighbor dogs up all night! Most of them go home fairly early Saturday morning, so I should have a little recovery time!
Yep.. that has been mentioned by her as a place she would like to go... so that's probably where we will have supper
OH NO! Eat first somewhere else or at home, then go there for the fun. CEC food stinks! If we get food when we go, it's after we've had a meal, and we just get a salad bar. The kids will eat the veggies. The pizza, etc is tooooooo greasy, gross, and expensive.

Disc Golf is fun and free, minus a few bucks for some of your own discs if you like it.
Plus, the group that runs the site and local tournaments & leagues is great. All ages!
