In Pierre the local channels come from Sioux Falls. If I had my druthers I would prefer Rapid or have both.

In Rapid you cannot even get the Sioux Falls locals with Directv - you just get nothing - no networks period - you can petition to get LA or NY networks at a cost, but if you can get any locals via antena etc you are not elligible for the coast locals - it sucked!!!

port forwarding makes no difference for me, except in CS:S, where its pretty much mandatory. i have my xbox360 on dmz all the time anyways. we are signed up for there 8mbps service. i get what my speeds are using speed-test. otherwise, during nighttime hours when the Internet is not down, i have almost no issues playing any of my games , until of course a nasty lag spike hits. as for the directv rants: if you can receive your locals over the air with a antenna, then its better that way anyways. over the air digital tv is the most crystal clear tv broadcast you can get. cable, and satellite can not produce a digital signal as clear as a over the air antenna can. directv in conjunction with a good antenna = tv heaven. otherwise, dish network and directv are both almost identical in provided services.
