Anyone participating in the 'National Open House Weekend'?

I know NAR has been getting a bad rep lately (with the increase in fees) but with the publicity they're supposed to be giving for the open houses, just wondering if ya'll were going to partake of it.

And if you are, I'd be curious to hear if you're planning anything special or having any themes involved.

I'm thinking along the lines of Monopoly - having the $2K in 'money' that the seller is offering towards closing along with little 'deed' cards with property and my info on it. Or - "Go straight to xxx address. Do not pass go. etc"

Whatcha doing?

I'm just putting out a lot of balloons and signs.

Of course I am an on site agent so it's a lil different for me but good luck and may you receive many full price offers.

No...Open houses suck as a way of selling homes and I have plenty of buyers to work with already.

Things were slow here as well - wondering if the 95+ degrees has anything to do with it!
