VA loans anyone??????

I am a verteran and I know I dont need a 620.

I was at a lender panel discussion for REALTORs last month and only one lender in the room out of 6-8 would do less than 620 credit scores. That one would go down to 580.

i already have my VA Certificate of eligibility...I have a home with a tax apraisal value of $250K i owe nothing on it but my credit score is only 583. i want to borrow $175K against my house. Do i qualify? How soon can i get a loan if I do qualify and at what rate? If You can get me a very decent rate please email me at{johnagagnier at hotmail}

Probably should post this in the Mortgage forum.

Tax appraisal value should not be confused with current market value. Any lender will want an appraisal to determine current value. You can also ask a local Realtor to give you a market analysis report.
