I think you can take the class online so, for the first hurdle, I don't think you need a car. To take the state test, you have to go to a test center so you will need to deal with that. Once you have a license, you might be able to get a job as an assistant in an office where a car won't be needed but I doubt it. As for being an agent and earning a living, I think it is fair and accurate to say it is nearly impossible to do without having a car but, if you live in a downtown area and have access to walkable properties or mass transit, I might be wrong. In my area of Florida, you have to have a car.

I feel your pain, there are so many fees, dues and checks to write when getting started.

My husband and I were joining as a team, so unfortunately we had to double some of those dues.

They tell me though, eventually, we actually start *making* money at this!
