Went through about a thousand domains in the process of driving the family focus group nuts, although they couldn't help but try to contribute. Many of the domains we cooked up were taken, and many weren't but just didn't fill the bill.
My favorite two, that AFAIK, are still available:
RedMeatRealty.com
"It's Medium-rare to find Real Estate so Well-Done!"
I just couldn't do it....
Well certainly you need to pick what feels good, I'm a well done man myself.
So, what do agents/brokers look for?
Local meaning in the word they choose, predicting what future prospects would type in? Example, NYRealty.com or SouthCarolinaRE.com Having the geographic location as part of the name?
And if not a localized name, then words that describe the industry?
Your Name plus the industry description, as many of you have?
or
Weird names that you come up with that someday will be as familiar as the weird names we are now accustomed to now?
: face+book, zillow, trulia (true+lie)? red+fin, twit-ter, goo-gle, mo-zilla,? etc...
Home on the Range Realty.
"Where the deer and the antelope play"
Country Roads Realty
"Take Me Home"
Hey, are the domains available? Rules of the Game....
