I didn't leave my theme. As I posted in my OP, I am a small independently managed mom & pop shop with an international brand. My point was why I carry the international brand, although we are a small independent firm.

Nothing hypocritical at all.

The funny thing, the only thing I cry we are # 1 about is our productivity. We aren't the largest, we aren't the oldest, or youngest. We aren't anything but this, "No one sells more real estate than RE/MAX." I guess it's ok for most people to be nonchalant about productivity, but I don't know about you, but I got out of bed today and went to work. I like maximizing my income while minimizing my expenses. Guess that makes me weird.

Again, back to the OP, I was explaining that most branded offices, whether RE/MAX, C-21, CB, ERA, BHH-Prudential or Weichert are local independent business folks.

Our business cards always say each office is independently owned. But many consumers are fixated on brand.

Please take this thought a little farther down the highway. What do you mean, "fixated on the brand?" Love to understand why you think people are brand conscious.
