Background: Sales, Former Owner/Operator of Apartment Complex
Specific Experience : Newbie to real estate sales
Location: Newport Beach, CA
Seeking:Your help and guidance as to which real estate firm you would recommend to work for in my area. If you could list some key reasons as well that would be awesome.
I have over 12 years of B2B and relationship sales experience in various construction related categories. Also, I was an owner operator of a 72 unit apartment complex for over 14 years. Now having moved from upstate NY to SoCal I am getting my license in Real Estate and am excited about the prospects in my area however, I am unsure of where to hang my tag.
newport is a high end area. Hang your license at a place with no upfront fees, get on the MLS, and find out which franchise is the most active or recognized in the area. Then move your license there.
It doesn't matter that you were operating a 72 apt complex. This is a new area and you have to market yourself from scratch.
Thank you for your response. All sound advice which I will take. Understand about starting from scratch, am ready Was just giving my background in regards to the apartments.
Thanks again!
