Since this is the RE forum, I figured many here regularly come across CAMs, so it didn't hurt to ask.

Are there employment agencies that specialize in placing licensed CAMs (Community Assoc Mngrs), either in FL or nationwide? Or, do most CAMs find jobs by contacting mngmt co's directly?

Wrong forum? Should this be in the Work/Employment forum? Anyone?

I've never heard of such a "specialty". How many total CAM jobs are there in a town? What firm specializes NATIONWIDE in a certain employment field?

No, I'd guess you'd have to determine regionally what CAM jobs there are, and DIY it to the management companies.

Hi, Bo, cheers for replying. I certainly will contact mngmt cos on my own & have been. But, about 8-yrs ago, I was told by someone who worked in the field that there were agencies who placed property mngmt staff. I have called nationwide staffing agencies for help & was told they didn't place property mngrs. When I asked if they could give me the names of any agencies which did, they had no idea. I thought some RE personnel might have come across them.

I'm finding jobs to apply to, but I'd like to cover all angles. I'll keep plugging away.
