I have been a Real Estate Agent in Massachusetts from 2005 to fall 2019. Fall 2018 I moved to Atlanta and got my R E license in GA as well. Since GA and MA have reciprocity it was easy to get my GA license just by filling out a form.
My question now is: I want to become a R E broker in GA. Can I just study and take the exam or is there any required amount of time I have to be an agent in GA in order to be allowed to apply for broker's license?
Thanks!

I forgot to mention I called the GA R E licensure and emailed but haven't gotten a reply yet-might be due to office closings...I would love to know, this might be a great time to study for the exam, TIA.

I'm not from Georgia but, from what I've read, you need to have been an active-status licensee for a minimum of 3 of the last 5 years in order to apply to become a broker. Since you don't have all of that time in Georgia, you'll need to attach a certification of your active license history from Massachusetts along with you application. It looks like you can start studying.
