See, I would have told her, "Sure," and requested a nonrefundable good faith deposit in the amount of the balance due in case the loan was called.
No problem!

People here wonder why I have nothing good to say about realtors. I place them on the same level as car salesmen.
Those flippers/lookers/tire kicker aren't generally agents. We agents get some of those calls too. Yes, there are agents that don't pay attention. If your ad said don't call they should have respected that.

Aside from that, you always come across like a cranky old man yelling at those punks to get off your lawn. I find it impressive you can convey that tone with the written word. That is some serious skill that not many possess. Congratulations.

I'm rather proud of my ability to convey that tone with the written word. With some people I have to use emojis to get the point across.

Happy to see that your comprehension ability is up to the task, unlike the bottom feeders who wanted to help me sell my home.

I got one of those calls. Said no on general principles. I got out of the landlord business 22 years ago and never looked back.

A few years ago, I got a call from some guy asking if I knew the owner of (my father's address) and would they be
interested in selling? He said he was from some real estate place. I asked him how did he get my info and he said,
"public records." He gave me his number. And called a few months later. I guess they look up the address of elderly
home owners and surmise they won't be able to handle their house anymore and will have to sell it. Or someone
tips them off that the house is run down looking (which it was)...When it was sold, we used a realtor we knew.
The cold caller was out of luck.
