I'm wondering if anyone here has used this company and what are your opinions on them?

If you’re like most sellers, you want to make the most when selling your home. Ideal Agent was created to net you the most money at closing and at the same time deliver the best home selling experience at a fair commission. We carefully select agents that meet the highest standards in the industry, personally interview them, negotiate a fair commission and in turn send them quality business. You will see zero difference in service than their clients paying 6% to 7%.
Yes. Ask this mythical unicorn of an agent to show you via MLS stats their in the top 1% of sales.
All agents should at a minimum do what is listed on the website. Time is money, and getting the offer is 1/3 of the work. Do they pass you along the conveyor belt to an unlicensed transaction coordinator to finish the deal?
Lots of agent with do a real estate transaction for 2% on their side and whatever on the buyers side.
I bet there is a referral fee to Ideal from your agent’s part of the 2%.
I think they are chsrging 2% for listing agent, but you still have to pay going rate yo buyers agent...so roughly 5%.
Just a new twist on bait and switch. When the home seller could have gotten a local full-service listing agent for the same total amount but were lured in by the 2% tease. I hate deceptive advertising.
It appears that Ideal Agent is simply a referral service. In order to make money, they likely charge a referral fee--meaning yet another hand in the pot.

And they know nothing about the "Expert" agents near you.
All they know is that some mediocre agent (at best), desperate for business agreed to pay them a referral fee.

Not "I think" - it's reality. The stated way to get "2% only" is an unrepresented Buyer shows up. But no mention then of Dual Agency, or whatever form is allowed.
They could just as easily advertise that the average total compensation right now is ~5.1%, and thus you'd probably save about 1/2%.
As noted before, I'd ask Ideal Agent to show me how the agents in my area are in the top 1%, and in theory they must disclose how they're getting paid (maybe not). In my area, top 1% is ~80 Realtors. When I have checked in the past, there might be 1 of the options that were top 80, and they were there because they were Zillow-heavy/a large team.

I'd also speculate that the majority of top 1% agents don't need referrals from Companies like this.
