"Buyers are becoming more and more savvy, and they understand that having the nicest home in the neighborhood can be a bad thing when it's time to sell," says Columbia, S.C., Realtor Brandon Hoffman.
I thought that was neat. I was like, "Wow, I know that name!"
Oh well, thought I'd share. Made me wonder though....what's the value of a name? Or an internet forum, for that matter.
I'll share something with you, since I'm here. There's a fella..I'm pretty sure he's a fella...that hangs out in the Seattle forums. IRA500. I doubt that is his real name in real life. But I read his posts, and they are informative and it is obvious he has a grip on the local real estate market.
You can also tell from his posts that he's a pretty nice guy. Someone I'd want to work with, that's for sure. And my secret...I'll tell you my secret....shhh...When it is time for me to buy a house, I'm gonna try my best to work with him. Or his company, if I can't work with him.
People sometimes don't realize that every crazy ass post they make here sells themselves, their industry or their product. (Not saying Realtors, I mean just in general.) But for all of those crazy people...there are some here that are really impressive. You guys take a lot of flack. I think you deserve a kudo.
Keep that good advice coming...some people actually pay attention.
