PSI recommends a half dozen books to prepare for the State portion of the exam.
Can any agents narrow that down for me? I have a license in another state and a good understanding of Real Estate, but am a little concerned about things that might be state specific in TN.
Are you in a reciprocal state? If not you will have to take 90 hours of courses and the books will be provided. The test is very simple although not very prepratory for your actual career. I took it 7 years ago and I don't think it has changed very much. If you have good general knowledge you should be fine with the provided books, if you do happen to be in a reciprocal state, I would talk to one of the schools that offer re courses for new affiliates and find out which books are required and purchase those without taking the actual classes so that you can study the material.
I have my Real Estate License in Florida, and know going to take the license state portion for exam for Tennessee, does anyone know which would be the best tool to study?
