I had a RE license about 20 years ago, but I didn't renew it. I guess you would call it "lapsed."
I never had any disciplinary procedures or anything like that.
What would I have to do, to re-instate it? Or would I have to start from the beginning again?
Does anyone know of any online schools or courses one could take?
(I'm not planning to be a RE agent --- I want it to get into something else...)

I don't know how it is in KY, but in AZ you would have to start from scratch. I had to do that before when I had let first license expire. I went and retook the classes and had to pass the exams again. I won't let that happen again!

I would imagine that the Kentucky Real Estate Commission could give you a definitive answer.

If your license has not been in escrow, I am sure you would have to start over by taking the instruction and sit for the exam. Here is the website:
