What are your thoughts and/or experiences with the 'investment' groups that offer to buy your house...TODAY....or by the end of the week?
I've seen advertisement for company's with slogan's such as "we buy ugly houses" and today have gotten emails from an investment group based locally that's offering to buy the house we've got on the market in Garner by the end of the week. Our house is in great shape, and we're having to relocate due to work. Or goal, of course is to break even on the sell. I don't see how they would be able to buy it close to what we're asking & then make money on it too.
I'm thinking this is one of those situations that it's best to steer clear of... but still thought that I would ask.
I believe you are right on the money. Of course they can say they will buy your home, and they will, but it will not be for the price you are asking. Some people get into difficult financial situations and are desperate to sell...............read: lose money. If your house is a good house, nice location, etc it will sell.
These companies just turn around and put your house on the market for the price you should have received for it!
