I am thinking about a carrer path, as a commercial real estate appraiser ?
Maybe after several years of experience, obtaining a brokers license and selling commercial.
Does anyone have any experience in either of these areas ? It looks like the long-term prospects aren't too good, for residential real estate appraisers. A lot of appraisals are being waived. Much of it is going online.
I took some real estate appraisal classes already. Including a commercial appraisal course, while in college.
It seems like there will always be demand for commercial appraisers.
Do you enjoy being a commercial appraiser or broker ?
If anyone has any thoughts or commentary, it would be greatly appreciated.
You may want to also look into the CCIM courses. It stands for Certified Commercial Investment Member. I took them years ago and they were very very good.
