Well I keep reading that people are having excellent ROI on blogs. I live in a resort area in NY and as far as I know no one up here blogs. As a matter of fact, most agents up here probably do not know what one is...
I am interested in maybe having some what of a blog/website hybrid with video of my listings... area info, market info. Here is my question... I really want to use my own domain name (with keywords for the area) not a blog site like active rain... is this foolish? especially from an SEO stand point?
Also, most of the companies up here do not use the MLS so buyers have to visit 4-5 sites to see everything available. I am building a database for my own use. Would it be wise to offer to email this to buyers after they fill out my little lead capture forms?
Does anyone know of any sitebuilder programs that already have some of these features built in? Any advice you guys have is greatly appreciated... this is one of those sleepless night issues for me so I think the whole thing might be overwhelming me.
I use point2 agent. It has everything you are talking about built in.
Be careful...if they don't use MLS, does that mean they have the exclusive listing as in a pocket listing?
Make sure you are allowed to 'market' those and get a commission.
None of the nuckleheads up here use the mls, however they do co-broke if it makes it to their website before they sell it. I will disclose who it is listed with. Do I have to worry as long as I disclose?
