Ok, my house is been on the market for awhile now. My daughter has serious health problems and is several hours away from me. I had planned on waiting till the house sold and then move up by her. I dont care anymore, I need to be with my family. Do I have any options, before I consider just walking away from the house. No, I am not past due on my mortgage. Yes, I have lowered the price as much as I can. I dont have much equity in the house since I only put a small down payment and bought it two years ago. My daughter is more important that any house. Any advise is appreicated. I'm getting desperate here!

Can you rent it out, and maybe at least cover your mortgage?

Taking a huge loss on the house is 1000 times better than walking away from it and ruining your credit.

I'm so sorrry your daughter is ill, and I understand your impatience to just be with her. So, ask your realtor what price will really sell your home, then reduce it tomorrow.

This is your best option.
