Just want to get an idea of how others are fairing in this bad market as far as buyer viewings...

I have been on the market 50 days now, and had just 2 viewings... no 2nd viewings yet. With one of buyer, agent updates us that buyer is very interested but wants parents to come to view.. It's been a month since...

Our house was on the market for a little over two months - had 30 showings, including 4 or 5 second showings, and three offers.

We are getting about 2 a month, VERY SLOW. We've done a 20% price reduction and it's still slow.

SLOW is the word. I have about 9 viewings and one couple who saw the house last Sat made a low ball offer on Sun. Yesterday, they came back for the 2nd viewing, with the parents (never bring the parents, they can kill a deal ) and stayed for an hour. So, we'll see.....

Hmmmm...showings, now that is a concept I wish my agent would try! Lets say if I had the only traffic light in town parked in my drive there still would be no lookers....

We listed in late March. We had 45 showings in 5 months. Three offers. First two fell through due to their financing issues. Both had prequal letters, but couldn't get loan approval. Now we're on #3....holding breath.

Default Been on the market 6 months

We've had many, many showings. July and August were pretty slow though, maybe only 5 those two months. 1st listing has ended, new listing started yesterday with a new agent, and it's being shown right now. No offers yet

We have accepted an offer. On to the inspection!

The right agent has made all the difference. She has had the listing less than a week. Although we won't walk away with much, we won't be in the hole or just sitting on the market anymore.

Feel like I should call the crappy old realtor and share the good news

Congratulations. What do you think the new agent did to help that the previous agent didn't do? Did you adjust the price?
