I have been thinking about investing in rental property, and i was wondering how property taxes for a duplex work. Is it based off the value of the property as a whole or is it jacked up a little since their are two residences? Thanks for any info

Most taxes are based on the assessed value. Your county would be the best place to look for specific answers.
