Dirt. I also bought a house from someone who didn't pick up a rag or a broom from the moment the contract was signed.

Yes and it was such an exhausting process that we decided not to fight them anymore. I figure karma will do the rest.

Had the opposite of something left like an above poster.
The sale listed curtains, appliances, etc. (Standard contract)

The guy wanted to take the window treatments and some appliances but the broker told him; "No"
We did the walkthrough on the way to the closing because we thought he would try something.
It was all there.

But after the closing. He drove straight to the house and took all the drapes and appliances.

We called the cops. But had no proof it was him.
He came back two weeks later but the neighbors chased him off.
(Turns out he was a real ass)

Just found out about a week ago, he is running for office in Philly!

Nothing exciting really, lots of grease on the kitchen walls and cabinets and wax build up on slate floors!! Had turned them a lovely yellow over time...They did leave us the original house plans from 1966 which was cool to see what the house was suppose to look like and what changes the owners had made. Some were good ideas, but I wish they had left some of the stuff the way the architect had originally intended....

We didn't find anything odd. In fact it was exactly the opposite.

The previous owners left a gift basket with candles, dish towels, and pot holders. It was a nice thing to see walking into our new home.

We'll probably do the same when we sell our home.

In broad daylight no one seen him packing up a truck with appliances?

I did find this in my new house. I've been tinkering with it trying to get it to open. What's the worst thing that can happen?
