I've found a couple of realty websites that offer cash back if you use their realtors. Also found a similar type website for condos/townhouses only. Are these legit? Is there some fine print I should be aware of? Is there hidden cost somewhere? Any help would be great! Thanks.

sounds like marketing ploy because the buyer pool is shrinking so guess they are trying any incentive to get some sales going...

That has been around for some time and was also very big during the boom. Just remember that you get what you pay for, even when you're not the one paying for it.

Sorry, I posted this in the wrong place - I'm pretty new to this website! I posted it on the Fort Worth forum because these realty sites came up when I was researching the area - but I understand the condo/townhouse cash back deal is only valid in Texas. Sounds good on the surface - just trying to be cautious!!! I appreciate the feedback!

I don't know Texas RE Law, but generally speaking you should sign paperwork that specifically states how much you will get at closing. Just make sure you read it carefully
