We are planning to buy a new home and in order to have a large down payment we want to sell our 5 year old single wide. Do we need to find a temporary living area between when we sell it and when the new house is ready to move into or is there some method whereby we could sell it but still remain in it until the new house is ready?

Sell it and rent it back ...... ask your parents to buy it!
