I'm not sure if this is the appropriate forum, so my apologies in advance.

We've been told that most real estate closings in NH are handled by Title companies. Is this true and if so, do we also need an attorney?

Any input is much appreciated.

regardless of what is 'usual' or 'customary' or even the law...
I wouldn't buy a house anywhere without a RE attorney on my side.
(and ideally managing the closing)

Based on what HE says about that state... then I'll consider other approaches.
