Man, too bad more people are not like you. We would be much better off right now.

I like the idea of renting it. Even if the rent was less than the payment, that would essentially be the same as you paying a little of the deficit each month, except one day you might or even probably will be able to sell and get some or all ofyour money back.

If you do decide to do some kind of short pay make sure it's wrapped by before Dec 2012 or you'll be taxed on the forgiven amount too.
