The nation's top 5 servicers -- B of A, Chase, Wells Fargo, CitiGroup, and Ally Financial -- signed "consent orders" last April. Long story short - they didn't have to admit any wrong-doing, but they will give $25 billion to people wrongly foreclosed (or something). I'm not sure what all the criteria are for getting some of the money.

And FYI, when I say top 5 servicers, I mean the 5 largest, not the best!!!!!!!

OP's link says 14 servicers are participating.. do you know if they are subsidiaries of the top 5?
