I see, I developed a plat that backed up to a utility companies overhead high voltage wires. We discounted these lots as well when we sold. The utility company gave the home owners (for a $25.00 life lease) the use of the land under the towers. They could place storage sheds and landscape, but the same stood true, if the utility company had to sevice their lines they had a right to do so without having to repair any home owners property in the easement. Today those homes resell for the same prices as the ones inside the plat. Being that you are located away from the lots in question I would think you would be fine.
