It's probably really obvious, but I can't figure out - what does it mean when a listing says its an "U&R Colonial"??

Could be - thanks. It was built in 1997 so not sure if that could apply here, unless it was in disrepair and now listed as updated and restored??

They felt a need to restore the house to the Clinton years, can't blame em.

Updated and remodelled. In the late 90s people were still building houses that don't meet today's standard of "open concept."

15 years ago had many different concepts of interiors...wallpaper, tile counters, linoleum floors, GOLD everything. And things get old like carpets, paint, etc. Updated and Remodeled would probably appeal to many people.

Well, I guess we'll see when they finally post pictures. It does note fresh paint and new carpet so I guess we will see. Thanks all

Ha ha Texas - good one!

I suppose its all subjective, but I did pull up the listing this morning and pics were finally posted. Its a nice house and one we would consider, but I wouldn't actually consider it updated or remodeled. There is floral wallpaper border everywhere. The kitchen has white corian counters and you can tell the appliances are older. Bathrooms you can tell are original and there are popcorn ceilings everywhere. Aside from the listed carpet and paint improvements I'm not sure what else was really updated, but overall a nice home...
