Has anyone out there used Ebay to sell real estate?
In your opinion, would it lend an air of desperation or not?
I have been curious for some time. I know that it is a way to
get attention, but does it get the right kind?
I have bought and sold personal property there.

I would like to see some answers to your questions.

I worked for a developer who had a budget of 5-15K per week to advertise. Sometimes they would test the ads in different forums, if so they would try it for at least 6 months. They did try EBay for almost a year. The results were very few and very weak leads, no buyers. We tracked our leads and buyers meticulously.

Have been thinking about trying it myself. But I did have the opportunity to see what ads worked and where with someone elses money. Not so sure I want to waste my dollars there. I'm more interested in Craigs list. How that works out. I have Fsbo's tell me they get lots of calls from there. If that really were the case, I wasn't sure why they asked me to list their property then.

Default IggysHouse vs realtor.com

As I understand it, he had a problem with realtor.com and likes
IggysHouse.
I am not affiliated with IggysHouse.com.
However, I would like to hear any feedback you have.
Thanks.

I worked for a realtor who tried ebay once.....we got no leads and that was during much busier times....3 years ago.
Try craigslist....its free and i think more people search real estate on craigslist than they do on ebay.
