I have always regarded the listed taxes and HOA fees as an approximation, to be verified before purchase. Just like room size, type of heat, etc. etc. I would not be quick to accuse people of misrepresentation when it could be old data or honest error.
As far as assessments is concerned- that's part of your due diligence between offer and closing. You cannot expect everything to be apparent in the listing.
Yes, we wouldn't want to trouble the agents to obtain accurate information for us.
Somehow I don't think you have any clue what is actually involved. Whatever !!

As of today I worked with 5 agents and was not impressed... None of them was working I think - they all used standard contract forms and fill spaces in it with my infor (making typos and stupied mistakes like FHA loan instead of convensional). They never answer questions regarding contract - because it was not their job! It's attorney's job! They didn't call HOA or management companies because it wasn't there job. They didn't search houses backgrounds because they didn't want to waste their time if offer will not be accepted. They were like sales people - hundred words and nothing on the paper - they are not responsible for a word they were saying. And they always were late... What a great profession I am sure I am missing other involvements like connection between my agent and his inspector

From another post by you:
Our issue will cost us nearly $100K to fixed It basically need to be rebuild... I've got good attorney and builder will pay his expenses when it's all done and not us. Attorney feel confident in winning our case. My point was brand new homes doesn't offer many warranties and even if something should be covered by warrenty builder is not recognazing it and simply fixing it...
