Hi all, I was wondering if anyone here has dealt with my situation before.
I own a 6 acre house lot in Shediac, New Brunswick, Canada. I purchased it from family up there that changed there mind about building on it. I've had it for 20 years and really have no interest in moving farther north or leaving the US.(I Live in Maine)

So My question is how does the tax situation work with Canada, Iv'e read the Canadian tax law pages but its kinda confusing about when you file paper work and what you have to send them.
Can anyone give me a plain english version of what needs to be done and when, or if you have been thru it how did it all work out.
