Even though 90% of the earthquakes that strike the United States are located in California, only about 10% of homeowners there have earthquake insurance. What gives?
Anyone owning a home along a fault line should be required to pay for earthquake insurance. It should not be an option.
Why should it be any different than flood insurance, etc.?
