I suppose this might be normal for this time of year, but the amount of hits on my MLS listing has more than doubled in the past week over the highest week since the beginning of November.

I am seeing the same thing with mine. I also am having people all of a sudden prequalify that were dragging their feet for months.

Let's hope so. I still say that now is a great time to buy a home if you can get a loan. Great rates and lots to pick from for a good price. Hopefully, other buyers are starting to see this as well, or maybe just getting tired of waiting and wasting money on rent. Liz

I think you are seeing a large number of houses coming back on the market after being removed for the holidays. This usually happens between the beginning of November and the beginning of January.
Many sellers do not want their holidays disrupted so they take it off the market for the time being. Since many buyers also put off their search during that time so they can focus on the holiday season, except for relos, sellers feel they are not missing much.
Now is the time they begin to come back on.

Hey if your looking to move - Marion Oaks, just outside of Ocala has lots of empty new houses to rent or buy and the prices are coming down. We just rented a 4 bedroom for $795.00 per month. It's close to I 75 so easy access to a lot of stuff.

Default NJ market

House has been on the market one week: 15 showings; is the market picking up?

Someone else will have to answer about your particular market in NJ.

That's a good number of showings. How is the feedback you are getting?
