+1. What's the problem here? It takes about 2 minutes. Goodbye sign.

Is it welded to the house or something? You asked them once to take it down and they didn't, just throw it away.
It's not worth the stress of calling them over and over.

I don't think many people come back for their signs! Real Estate agents, contractors, painters etc. If they don't take it down, I remove it, toss it in the trash. Easy peasy.

I loved many of the suggestions, but I'm sure the condo association and neighbors would not have found them funny!!
Perfect!

Those signs can weigh ~ 70-90 lbs and they are 7-10 tall (up to two feet are underground). The sign genies are supposed to have the equipment to locate utility lines, or, have surveys with the utility lines marked.

Most agencies around my area contract out placing and removing signs. I see it all the time- pick up trucks driving around with a load of signs from different agencies...

Some people seem to think this was one of those plastic sign board signs with thin metal legs that just slips into the ground. If that was the case I would have just removed it.

SmartMoney gets it. It was dug about 2 feet into the ground and stood about 7 feet above ground. If I could've removed it, it would not have fit into my car to dispose of!

We can make it to ten. Dare to dream! (Note that the sign was actually removed a page or two back.)

So was mine. That's why craigslist was perfect. It was too hard for me to get out of the ground. But someone did.
