Does a normal home selling process take that long? We're in a similar pickle: the April market here in Dallas is hot, but we CANNOT close/move until Memorial Day weekend. Our realtor is confident that our house will sell super fast and that a 45-60 day close isn't a problem.

I'm just nervous about what another poster said: long closings can sometimes be problematic with buyer issues like job change, illness, etc.

And oh yeah, we have no clue where we're going to live. Haha!

My experience is put something up for sale ASAP then worry about timing when you have offers.
