Going to rent trying to figure what fits in our budget. It's crazy that a studio can cost 1200 grand a month with no utilities.

Based off of this were looking to rent in November. Our joint income at that time will be $3200. Once fiancée gets the license joint income will increase. About $2500 so far with taxes taken out.

I have $1200 a month if bills I pay. Fiancée has $400 a month in bills. That includes average cost of gas a month (fiancée travels a lot around the state.)

I just don't think will be able to afford a place yet. Have to rent a $400 to $500 room.

For three or four years, the majority of your mortgage payment will be interest.
