We're having trouble choosing where to move. I am a photographer and videographer. We would like to move somewhere with a decent amount of filmmaking. We also have two horses and are looking for approximately 5-10 acres of land. Looking for a low cost of living, not too close to the coast, and in a safe area. (Not Atlanta, as neither of us care for the city). Anyone have any ideas? Also, my fiancé doesn't seem thrilled about Texas).

Which coast are you talking about? East, West, or Gulf? You could get better responses in the appropriate state forum.

Horses and cost of living might make Louisiana a good choice.
