I have bought several home lock stock and barrel.

All were estates with out of town heirs... one was on the East Coast... she flew in to see the property her great aunt left her... took a few pictures and that was it.

She accepted my offer because I bought AS-IS...

It really was a fun project as the home had only a single owner since bought new in 1922.

Clean the house out, get it professionally scrubbed down, clean the carpets, paint what needs to be painted, fix what needs to be fixed, and then you and your agent decide if the house needs to be staged. You can just stage one room or two, you don't have to stage an entire house.
